how to allow mod_rewrite to handle HTTP Post requests?

my .htaccess looks like this-

<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-l
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ terminal/index.php?url=$1 [QSA,L]
</IfModule>

It basically makes sure that all requests are routed to index.php and index.php directs it to log in page. Now the issue is that whenever I am POSTing log in form, mod_rewrite is blocking post request and i get nothing in related controller.

How do I make sure that HTTP POSTs are routed to my controller?

You need to login account before you can post.
