How to know if cordova iOS app was built for production or development

I'm using https://github.com/phonegap/phonegap-plugin-push to send push notifs with my ionic app, but the guys testing the app keep having BadDeviceToken issues because the server doesn't know if the app was built for production or dev mode.

I'm looking for a way to know if the app has been built with aps-environment=development or aps-environment=production as said here.

Something like

const env = await APS.get('aps-environment');

Would be awesome. But how would you do that?

Edit

I tried https://github.com/pardeike/cordova-plugin-buildsettings/ :

buildsettings.get({
    'aps-environment': 'default'
}, function(defaults) {
    console.log(defaults);
});

It's working to get some of the App-Info.plist, but it won't load the apt-environment values :(

You need to login account before you can post.
