I'm using strongbox gem for data encryption in User table in my rails project. New to rails and strongbox gem.

Rails version : 4.2, Ruby version : 2.2.2, DB : Postgresql

Trying to encrypt username attribute in User table.

Install "strongbox" gem and generated keypair.pem in config folder.

Declared the following in user.rb file:

encrypt_with_public_key :username,
                          :key_pair => Rails.root.join('config','keypair.pem')

But when I login my application I got the following error:

SystemStackError in HomeController#index stack level too deep

What could be the mistake here? I didn't do any other changes to any of my files regarding this process.

Please help me. I'm trying to solve this problem for the past 3 days.
